The Beat Bunker aims to keep cookies and browser storage to the minimum needed to provide website functionality requested by the user.

What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small pieces of data stored on a user's device.

Similar browser storage, such as localStorage or sessionStorage, may also be used to support website features.

V1 privacy approach

The Beat Bunker does not intend to use:

• advertising cookies;
• behavioural advertising;
• external analytics cookies;
• marketing cookies;
• WooCommerce traffic/order attribution.

WooCommerce Order Attribution must be disabled for V1 before this Policy is treated as launch-ready.

The currently unused fonts.gstatic.com preconnect must also be removed.

Necessary cookies and browser storage

The exact storage used depends on the features requested.

WooCommerce cart/session

WooCommerce may use a first-party session identifier and cart-state storage to maintain the cart and checkout.

Anonymous Woo sessions normally last up to approximately two days under the current configuration; authenticated sessions may last longer.

WooCommerce may also use session cookies such as:

woocommerce_items_in_cart

and:

woocommerce_cart_hash

together with first-party browser storage used to keep cart fragments synchronized.

Account authentication

WordPress authentication cookies are created when a user successfully signs in.

These are required to keep the Account authenticated and secure.

Password reset

A temporary WordPress reset cookie may be used after the user follows a valid password-reset link.

Guest digital access

Where Guest access is used for a purchased Beat Bunker Product, the first-party:

beat_bunker_guest_access

cookie is used to maintain secure Guest access.

Its current intended lifetime is 30 days.

This Guest access-session lifetime does NOT limit or redefine the underlying Product entitlement.

These technologies are used only where needed to provide the function the user has requested.

Consent

Where storage is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, prior cookie consent may not be required.

The V1 no-consent-banner model is CONDITIONAL.

Before public launch, browser/storage testing must prove that no non-essential storage is created before consent.

If non-essential storage remains or is introduced, the no-banner model fails and an appropriate consent mechanism must be implemented before public use.

If The Beat Bunker later introduces analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage requiring consent, those technologies must not be activated until the consent mechanism and this Policy have been updated.

Managing cookies and storage

Most browsers allow users to inspect, restrict or delete cookies and related storage.

Blocking necessary storage may prevent login, cart or protected-download functionality from working correctly.
